As a fellow geek and gadget guru I can only say that my ultimate goal is to be able to have the set up that you do to make these kinds of projects. Since I do not, watching you do what I can only wish too, is the next best thing. One word, Insane! I have a couple of 3D printers but not the good ones like you have. However, you did inspire me to try and use them more to make the things I always wanted to. Thank you for the great video, I'm looking forward to the next project.

Man, no, STEAMDECK > ROG ALLY, quality price is superior, design is way better, is way polished, ROG is ugly and has design problems, as you already pointed out (Man that battery addon is UGLY and unnecessary it would be ASUS for that price who would care about it, not us!!). OS is better on STEAMDECK and I cannot care less about Windows I have enough games to not care at all for playing those other ones not supported by STEAMDECK, it has direct support for "plug&play" on the biggest game PC platform, STEAM, it works flawlessly in that way and the system tells you case by case about the problems. The ROG is overpriced, and only sells and works because Windows, which many don´t care about, and because it is overpowered.

I really can not understand why most people on RUclips want smaller gameboys. I have really small hands for a man but your Gameboy would still be way to small for me to use. You actually don't need to mod the laptop internals at all. You just need ducting focusing high static pressure air into the intakes on the bottom of the laptops into the fans. One single giant fan is about the worst way to do it.

Thanks brother! The latch for my metal storm door ripped out of the frame. I tried using bigger screws, but they won't fit the holes in the latch. I tried using Molly's, but they just fall through or don't grab onto anything. Any suggestions on anchors that work with thin sheet metal, preferably the ones that don't require a puller? If not, I guess I'll have to get one of those hollow door anchors, kind of like a rivet gun, and then pull the other side with the back of a hammer so we can stay in place. 😅 😅😅

That usb will not work with usb headphones! Only soldering a usb c port doesnt help. He has no hardware behind with the usb c heaphones interact. Its only analog audio. It only works with analog usb to 3,5mm headphones adapter that also set gnd on the pin to shut down the speaker. Dac headphones doesnt work. I dont no where comes the thought that with a usb port all functions over usb are there

Couldn't you have just built the directional speakers into the cabinet of the existing speakers you have. The cabinets would have been much smaller and looked a lot less awkward

Well you created Mono speaker that you perhaps use to emulate stereo? Not really enough to properly experience movies... Proper movie experience needs at very least true 5.1 surround not emulated. You could simply buy cheap Bluetooth speaker or sound bar and get this same experience. Also how is 1024 wats battery is the smaller size of these batteries...

1) There’s no positive benefit to setting the baffle back from the front. You may mitigate some reflections with the lining, but dramatically impact the radiation of the sound. 2) For the interior, your sound deadening material is lined with aluminum. That creates its own resonances. That product is good as a sound barrier, not to reduce resonance from the inside. 3) The port interacts with the open space behind it and is designed with an expected distance from the wall. Since you’ve changed the orientation of the original design, you would be better served with a sealed speaker. 5) Why not just build with MDF and then use walnut veneer. At least you would have been able to replace the veneer instead of tossing the completed boxes.

People that actually design and build things are what 3D printers are supposed to be used for. So having multiple isnt bad for you. Most people buy them and print a bunch of figurines until they get bored of their printer and sell it. Thats a waste of plastic and most people have zero need for a 3D printer. Those are the people that likely give you shit for having two.
